Why Power With Precision?
What if I told you that many companies with a corporate health and wellness plan are throwing money away? With many employees don't seem to know about it and therefore are not participating. This is a very fairly common problem amongst health and wellness plans nationwide. Many employees don't opt in because either they don't know anything about it or it doesn't interest them because it's a one size fits all type of approach. These plans are normally very basic and extremely impersonal. That brings a few problems to the table. If a program a company offers is very bland and it appears that very little effort has been put in to develop it, many people would be uninterested. But this attitude isn't just how many regular employees feel, others, including some in management feel the exact same way. This makes sense because regardless of if you’re management or not, people want the company that they work for to truly have an interest in them. People want to know that they matter. If they feel that the company truly cares for them, then the feeling is likely to be reciprocated.
Even though many companies have found basic corporate health and wellness plans to bring their insurance costs down, the typical program leaves a tremendous amount of money on the table. This is because it's not personalized at all and many employees may not want to be a part of something if they're not certain that it will 100% benefit them. How can a program truly benefit every single person when it's giving a one-size-fits-all approach? Many people in general are likely to be turned off by that.
So why don't other corporate health and wellness providers build programs that are individualized? There are two reasons why they don’t. The first reason is that it will take away from the provider’s bottom line. It takes a lot more money and effort to help people individually rather than giving everyone the same plan. This approach, however, is not always beneficial to the employees.
The second reason is that individualizing plans is hard. It takes a tremendous amount of skill, knowledge, and experience to be able to listen to and visually assess a person to determine specifically what they need at that particular time. Specifically it takes a great amount of skill to identify what types of structural deviations or nutritional deficits a person may have and to know what needs to be done and the most effective way to correct it. Because very few fitness or health professionals have that level of skill, corporate health and wellness providers are perfectly fine leaving all the extra savings on the table for the companies that they're servicing and provide the same plan for everyone.
How does that make you feel knowing your health and wellness company either doesn't have the skill set or is just refusing to give individual attention to your employees even though doing so would help to save you a lot more money?
That's the difference when you work with Power with Precision. We are here to serve you. We believe that it's all about the personal touch. To let people know that they are important and give them exactly what they specifically need rather than just a one size fits all program. When people know that you care and that you actually have something that they can benefit from, they are more inclined to voluntarily enroll in the program you're offering.
Unlike other companies, Power with Precision focuses on the individual. We look at each and every person and identify what structural deviations need to be corrected in their body. We also provide nutritional coaching based upon a person's individual needs and not just a one-size-fits-all approach. Being that preventable illness makes up approximately 80% of the burden of illnesses and 90% of all health care costs, we focus primarily on addressing the areas that would potentially drive up your insurance costs.
There are two kinds of health and wellness programs. The first is simply lifestyle management which focuses on helping people to move their bodies more as well as helping smokers to quit. Even though those are both good goals, the return on investment isn't usually very high. But that's the extent to which the vast majority of health and wellness programs operate. The second type is disease management which focuses on preventing high cost hospitalizations and ER visits. Why wait to deal with the problem of injury or sickness when it can usually be prevented and avoided fairly easily? This is the difference with Power With Precision. Our primary focus is disease management so our knowledge and expertise will help to bring you the best rate of return on your investment. We implement that by taking a much deeper and specialized approach to the individual while keeping the focus on disease management.
This approach is vastly superior, more effective and more efficient than pushing a very basic program and hoping that people will opt in. The more individualized attention that is given, the better the engagement will be. With more employee engagement and noticeable results, the more the savings your company will see in your insurance costs.

Preventable illness makes up approximately 80% of the burden of illnesses and 90% of all health care costs. Employers can reduce preventable illnesses and reduce health care costs by providing wellness activities for their employees and employee families (Indiana State Department of Health)
Employee wellness is considered a potential high return on investment for employers. In fact, research suggests employers save on average $3.48 in reduced health care costs and $5.82 in lower absenteeism costs for every dollar spent on employee wellness. Employees who live healthier lifestyles have reduced sick leave, improved work performance, decreased health insurance costs, and increased productivity. (Indiana State Department of Health)
The bottom line, a well run health and wellness programs can drive insurance costs down and productivity up. But as good as some of these companies are they leave out a huge component of personal fitness plans. Thus, missing out on even lower insurance cost and potentially higher productivity per employee.
Why do these health and wellness companies leave this huge component out? Does it take more work?...YES!! Can it cut into their bottom line?...YES! Does it take a good amount of specialized knowledge?...YES!!
Whether the traditional health and wellness companies refuse to do it or they just don't have the knowledge how YOUR company is the one that can potentially suffer. That's where Power With Precision can help.
